Delete your Drushya account and data

Drushya is provided by MYDRUSHYA. You can request account deletion here without installing or signing in to the Android app.

Request deletion by email

Email support@mydrushya.com with the subject “Drushya account deletion request”. Send it from your account email where possible, and identify the account you want deleted. Do not send your password, verification codes, or meeting recordings.

Request account deletion

If you cannot access your account email, tell support. We need to verify account ownership before acting. Support will explain any required steps and confirm the outcome; sending an email does not immediately delete your account.

Delete from the app or browser

  1. Sign in to Drushya. On Android, open the main menu and choose Account. In the web app’s account settings, open Settings → Account.
  2. Finish or discard any active or saved recording before continuing. Cancel any active automatic subscription renewal first. Contact support if you cannot access billing controls.
  3. Choose Delete account and review the data and any shared-workspace ownership transfers shown.
  4. Enter your account email and current password, then choose Delete permanently.

Deletion cannot be undone. Enterprise-managed accounts may not support self-service deletion: contact your organization’s administrator and Drushya support to request deletion and clarify organization-controlled records.

What account deletion removes

Account deletion removes your sign-in credentials, personal profile and preferences, personal meetings (including Trash), transcripts, summaries, tasks, notes, personal tags and templates, and personal speaker and voice profiles from the active service. Stored recording audio and processing files are queued for cleanup.

After successful self-service deletion, access ends immediately. File cleanup continues in the background and retries if a service is unavailable. When processing or uploads are still in progress, cleanup includes a follow-up check after their upload permissions expire, which can take more than 26 hours.

Data that may remain

  • Shared and organization records: Copies in shared workspaces can remain for other members, attributed to “Deleted user”. They remain until the workspace or its members delete them. A shared workspace with no remaining members is deleted. Enterprise records are managed separately by the organization.
  • Deletion and billing records: A deletion record retains your name, email, deletion dates, data counts and cleanup status so support can track the request. Billing transaction records also remain for payment administration. These records currently have no automatic expiry; contact support about their retention.
  • Backups: Deletion does not immediately erase older recovery copies. Encrypted production backups retain seven daily, four weekly and twelve monthly recovery points and are removed as successful backups rotate. Copies can remain longer if backup rotation is interrupted.

Delete meeting data while keeping your account

Open a meeting’s actions menu and choose Delete Meeting. Open Trash from the main menu to permanently delete it. Meetings left in Trash are scheduled for permanent deletion after 30 days. Stored-file cleanup and the shared-copy and backup exceptions above still apply.

You can also request deletion of specific data by email. Identify your account and the meetings or data concerned, and say that you want to keep your account. Do not include passwords or sensitive meeting content.
